What makes it special?
For one, it’s a very distinctive format. The “dialogue” is in all forms of communication, from words to expressions to physical violence (assisted by an umbrella or a mousetrap in one memorable occasion) as the brothers grow up and find new methods to annoy and out-wit each other. The incidents and scenes range from adorable to weird, and some are really headcanon-worthy.
This is a treat for Mycroft fans especially, but no matter whose side you take in the Holmesian War (or if you prefer the Mummy Holmes approach), it’s a damn funny read.
